Constables (GD)

The Staff Selection Commission conducts an open examination for recruitment to the posts of Constable (General Duty) in Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), National Investigation Agency (NIA) and Secretariat Security Force (SSF) and Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles. Pay Scale: Rs 21700- 69100. SCHEME of Examination The recruitment process will consist of Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST) and Medical Examination.

"CHAM"- The Mask Dance

Cham is a mask dance by Hemis Monastery in Ladakh. It is associated with sects of Buddhism and Buddhist festival. It is performed by Lamas(monks). It is also considered as a form of meditation.
